Halloween face painting with Cheek Thrills

Special to The Union

Cheek Thrills Face Painting is offering Halloween face painting Friday and Saturday. Sierra Mohr and Marisa Mohr will be transforming people of all ages into ghouls, monsters, vampires, witches, fairies, or whatever else.

To get in the spirit, Sierra Mountain Coffee Roasters will be offering Halloween baked goodies and their usual array of hot and cold drinks. Face painting is an artistic alternative to plastic and rubber masks. It is a safer way to disguise the face that eliminates vision impairment and the discomfort of synthetic masks. While walk-ins are welcome, appointments are recommended.

Cheek Thrills History:

A local mother/daughter venture, Cheek Thrills has provided face painting services for over six years.

Working with FDA compliant hypoallergenic face paints, Sierra and Marisa transform a simple face into a work of art.

You may have seen their work locally at the Nevada City Farmer’s Market, Hot Summer Nights, Fourth of July Festivities, numerous art and community festivals, as well as private parties and events.

Cheek Thrills has numerous corporate clients including Yahoo, Macy’s and several entertainment companies. Most weekends they can be found busy painting smiling faces.
