H1N1 vaccines still available at county’s mobile van

The Nevada County Public Health Department still is offering H1N1 vaccinations. The vaccinations will be free of charge to people in all age groups from 1-4 p.m. Thursday at our mobile services van. The van will be located at the Grass Valley Veteran’s Building on South Auburn Street in the back parking lot.

Remember that children ages 6 months through 9 years of age need to receive two doses of the vaccine, at least three weeks apart.

The mobile services van offers other immunizations for a small fee.

For additional information, call the county warmline at 265-7258 or go online at http://www.mynevadacounty.com/ph.
