Groups can change

Finally, a “smart on crime healer,” speaks up!

I applaud Sen. Leland Yee. He has insight into the destruction and criminal abuse of our youths, who have made mistakes but as he knows can develop positively and be healed.

Yee is going where every politician is afraid to go. His stance is “soft on crime with a higher purpose.”

Yes, he is correct. “Children do have an extraordinary capacity for rehabilitation.”

The only groups that will try to stop SB 999 will be the victims of crime groups, who are always on a revenge mission, always being martyrs. When are they ever going to allow themselves to heal, forgive and move spiritually forward?

They are always festering and permeating negativity, thriving on resent, anger and fear.

Crime victims groups, can use a dose of “rehabilitation,” for they too can change, change their thinking, change their lives.
