Greenhorn closure a loss

I’ve enjoyed going to Greenhorn Creek for more than 40 years. It’s easy to get to and shallow enough to let little kids wade. I’ve never tried to blaze new trails in my truck or do anything that would be detrimental to the area. I found the tranquility I needed after losing my son last year and hate to think the BLM wants to close our land to us.

I think I know why now. It’s not the noise or garbage (I pick up trash and I know others do, too) – I’m willing to bet Hansen Bros. wants to expand its gravel operation! They had come all the way up to the Red Dog Road crossing at the end of last summer. So they can make money, we lose … as usual.
