Grass Valley to look at Briarpatch tonight

Tonight, the Grass Valley Planning Commission will discuss proposed expansion of the Briarpatch Community Market.

The retailer hopes to move to a 20,000-square-foot shopping center on Litton Hill. In order to construct the shopping center, however, Calloway Development needs to convince the Planning Commission to amend the zoning from business park to shopping center.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Grass Valley City Hall at 125 E. Main St.
