Graphics group art on display

More than 35 artists will be featured in the Grass Valley Graphics Group art exhibit, “Art is For Giving,” at the Center for the Arts this month.

On Sunday, an opening reception with music, refreshments and an opportunity to meet the artists will be from 5 to 8 p.m.

Works include monumental-sized canvasses by E. J. Gold, miniature pendants by S.L. Boyd; alabaster sculpture by Claude Needham, mobiles by David Christie and ceramic jewelry by Denise Wey.



The center is at 314 W. Main St., Grass Valley. Viewing hours are from noon to six p.m. Mondays through Fridays and during weekend events.
