GRACIELA QUINTANA

Graciela “Chela” Quintana of Grass Valley died Sept. 14 at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. She was 56.

Visitation and funeral services took place Sept. 16. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Grass Valley.

Ms. Quintana was born May 7, 1952, in Guanajuato, Mexico, to Jose and Josefina Ramirez. She married Felix Pozos, and worked as a great Mexican cook. She enjoyed family reunions and cooking tamales and authentic Mexican food.



Ms. Quintana is survived by her daughters Antonia Pozos, Nena Pozos, Betty Pozos, and Lily Pozos, all of Grass Valley; sons Felix Pozos Alex Pozos, both of Grass Valley; nine brothers and 16 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister.




Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary in Grass Valley.
