Gozas share "Eureka! Tales of Discovery" at library

Luckily for the Goza family, they like living out of suitcases.

Eleven years ago, the Gozas (Dennis, Kimberly and Zephyr) traded their home in San Francisco for a nomadic lifestyle. Since then, the Gozas have traveled nonstop across the country in either a motor home or a van, hardly ever staying in one location for more than two days.

Known as Act!vated Storytellers, the Gozas perform at libraries and schools during their ongoing travels. Their theatrical presentations include folk tales, costumes, props, music, dance, acrobatics, American Sign Language and audience participation.

On Saturday, the family returns to the Madelyn Helling County Library to share “Eureka! Tales of Discovery,” which consists of “Vasalisa” from Russia, “The Golden Pitcher” from Mongolia and “The Ice Cream Cone” from St. Louis, Mo.

Twelve spots are open for any youth who would like to appear in Saturday’s show; preregister by calling 477-5790 or 265-1538.
