Goldie Hudson

Graveside services for Goldie Carleese Hudson of Nevada City will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Grass Valley.

Mrs. Hudson died Tuesday, March 14, in Grass Valley. She was 84.

She was born Aug. 19, 1921, in Roland, Okla., to Curtis and Effie (Carter) Sagely. She graduated from Roland High School. She married Roy E. Hudson on July 3, 1964. She was a retired record educator for Thrifty Drug Stores. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, crocheting, knitting, sewing and carpentry.



She is survived by her husband, Roy E. Hudson of Nevada City; sons Jack R. Daniel of Nevada City and Dennis G. Hudson of Westminster; brother, Robert Sagely of Nevada City; sister, Norma Beller of Eddy, Texas; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
