Golden era picnic: Miners picnic celebrates its 119th year

The 119th Miners Picnic took place Saturday at the Empire Mine State Historic Park in Grass Valley. Those who attended enjoyed gold panning, old time clothing and a Mine Rescue Reenactment. Ten-month-old Hank Patton also befriended a burro.
