Glenn Brewer

Glenn Lincoln Brewer, 79, of Grass Valley died Nov. 28 in Grass Valley.

No services will be held.

Mr. Brewer was born Feb. 12, 1923, in Wolverton Village, Minn., to Lillie and Chester Brewer.



Mr. Brewer married LaReine Iris May in July 1953, and they lived in Santa Monica and Sacramento before settling in Grass Valley in 1965. The Brewers owned Smith’s Department Store for several years before Mr. Brewer became a real estate agent. He retired from 21st Century Real Estate in 2001.

Mr. Brewer was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Battery “C,” 495th Field Artillery Battalion during WWII.




Survivors include Mr. Brewer’s son, Michael May; grandson, Samuel May; granddaughter, Kathleen Soliven; and two great-grandchildren.
