Gladys Moore

Private services were held Easter Sunday for Gladys L. Moore, 94, at the home of her granddaughter in Chicago Park. Interment was at the Belmont Cemetery in Fresno.

Mrs. Moore died Wednesday, March 27, at Grass Valley Convalescent Home.



She was born Nov. 23, 1907, in Redway, Okla., to Ollie Hinkle and Everett McPherson. She graduated from high school. She married R.E. Moore in Beaver, Okla., in 1924.




She enjoyed her friends and family; and appreciated music, literature, humor, penmanship, writing, piano and gardening.

She is survived by son, Richard D. Moore of Grass Valley; granddaughters Beth Moore Haines of Chicago Park and Sarah Perry of Issaquah, Wash.; great-grandsons Forrest Simpson of Chicago Park and Max Murchison of Issaquah; and great- granddaughters Laurel Simpson of Chicago Park and Maya Murchison of Issaquah.

She was preceded in death by her husband in October 1948.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Lassila Funeral Chapels.
