Giving back: Volunteers from Peace Lutheran Church participate in four service projects

Betsy Wagner checks concrete forms Saturday morning at the Nevada County Habitat for Humanity build site in the Heritage Oaks development (on Joyce Street off Whiting Street in Grass Valley). This weekend, more than 40 members of Peace Lutheran Church participated in four service projects in Grass Valley. Other projects included Peace members on Sunday doing odd jobs at Scotten School, singing hymns for residents at Golden Empire Convalescent and Nursing Center; and making a quilt at the church to be donated to Kare Crisis Nursery.
