Girl, 11, approached near bus stop

At 8:03 p.m. Tuesday, a woman on the 23700 block of Maple Court, in the Lake of the Pines subdivision, reported that her 11-year-old daughter was approached by a man in a car after she got off a school bus earlier in the day. The man reportedly asked her if she wanted a ride home. After she said no, he reportedly drove back to the bus stop. The man was described as being his late 50s, with salt and pepper hair and a goatee. The car was described as an older white sedan with a broken sideview mirror.
