In The Union’s editorial of Sept. 28 on Conklin, you blamed your failures as a newspaper on voters when Ackerman wrote voters for Conklin were in denial, and we have our bumper stickers stuck up our noses. Since you are making allegations against Conklin, and since you are officially a newspaper, you should be providing the following pertinent information before you denigrate Conklin supporters:

1. Did Dryden leave any instructions on how his money should be spent?

2. Did the new supervisors state how they would have spent the money and how closely would it have conformed to Dryden’s wishes?

3. Have any of Dryden’s family complained with regards to how Dryden’s money was used?

Until your newspaper gets its head out of its (posterior) and provides this information for the voters, you have no business telling us we have our bumper sticker stuck up our nose.
