Geraldine Schwartz

Graveside services for Geraldine Harriet Schwartz of Washington will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Nevada City.

Mrs. Schwartz died Wednesday, Feb. 22, in Washington. She was 81.

She was born Jan. 30, 1925, in Hesperia, to Roy Edward Walters and Laura McClanahan. She married Milton Schwartz in Goodsprings, Nev., in 1947. She was a housewife. She enjoyed reading books, mining and history.



She is survived by her son, Walter Schwartz of Washington; daughters Trina Livengood and Teresa Schwartz both of Washington; and daughter, Christa Schwartz of Redding; grandsons Cory Livengood and Patrick Schwartz both of Washington; and granddaughters Deanna and Donna Walton, both of Redding. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Schwartz in 1971; son, Norman Yeager; and daughter, Laura Schwartz.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
