Gerald Golden

Military services for Gerald Golden will be conducted April 27 at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno.

Mr. Golden died Sunday, Feb. 3, in Roseville. He was 71.



He was born May 1, 1930, in Peoria, Ill. He served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years before retiring. During his military career, he served in Korea, Vietnam, Panama and Japan. He moved with his family from Pleasant Hill to Grass Valley in 1989.




He enjoyed golf. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Grass Valley Elks Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons Gerald Golden Jr. and Allen Golden; and stepson, Bryan Nehring.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
