George W. Bush: The forgetful hypocrite

Goodness gracious, Mr. Bush has had a change of heart with commentary on the Russian “incursion” of Georgia. ” No nation in the 21st century has the right to cross borders of a sovereign nation.” The same “mission accomplished” and “bring them on” George Bush Jr. when he pre-emptively and unilaterally invaded the sovereign Iraq nation regardless of condemnation by many nations as now with the Russian “incursion.”

Indeed, George looked in the eyes of Vladimir Putin and “saw his soul.” “Vladimir how can you do this?” “You are using my game plan on Iraq on Georgia.” ” I am the only person able to do this type of warfare.” This hypocritical reality astounds all sensibilities. The “pot” is calling the “kettle” black. Is this not a good example of “convenient circumstantial amnesia” by George Bush Jr.?

Regretfully, once again national avarice and greed seeking geopolitical control of oil and natural gas becomes manifest with continued death and devastation of innocent populations.

Will Russia return to the “high road” as George exhorts Vladimir or will Russia follow the “Bush” road and continue to occupy Georgia as America continues to occupy Iraq?
