George Ehrlich

Friends and family of George Paul Ehrlich will meet for a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday in front of the Washington Hotel in the town of Washington.

Mr. Ehrlich died Wednesday, July 31 in Washington. He was 57.

He was born March 17, 1945 in Sanger to George and Vivian (Inge) Ehrlich. He was a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam War and served as a helicopter mechanic.



He was a cook and chef at many Nevada County restaurants. He enjoyed relaxing at the Yuba River.

He is survived by his mother, Vivian Ehrlich, of Fresno; brother, James Ehrlich of Fresno; sons Michael Ehrlich of Santa Cruz and Andrew Ehrlich and Chris Ehrlich, both of Grass Valley.




He was preceded in death by his father.

The family requests that those attending the memorial service bring a flower to place in the Yuba River.
