Gaylene McGuire

A visitation for Gaylene Diane McGuire of Grass Valley will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the Nevada City chapel of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, followed by burial at the New Elm Ridge Cemetery in Grass Valley.



Mrs. McGuire died Saturday, Feb. 9, in Grass Valley. She was 55.




She was born May 2, 1946, in Grass Valley to Henry and Mildred Fay Dreith. She was a homemaker and a member of Truth Worship Center.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kelley and Paul E. Dixon III of Clarksville, Tenn.; grandson, Paul E. Dixon IV of Clarksville; granddaughter, Kristin D. Dixon of Clarksville; aunt, Gladys Clemo of Grass Valley; and longtime friends Ruth and Harold George of Grass Valley. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother, Mary Anne Kent.

The family requests memorial contributions to the Apostolic Lighthouse Youth Fund, 1602 New Ashland City Road, Clarksville, TN 37043.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
