Gayle Wright

Memorial services for Gayle Lee Wright of Grass Valley will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Salvation Army, 10725 Alta St. in Grass Valley.

Mrs. Wright died Friday, Oct. 4, in Grass Valley. She was 48.



She was born Nov. 20, 1953, in San Mateo to Gorden and Martha Sauer. She graduated from South San Francisco High School in 1971. She married Gary Wright on Nov. 20, 1976, in Redwood City.

She worked for Grass Valley Group for 16 years and Oracle for five years.




She is survived by her husband, Gary Wright of Grass Valley; mother, Martha Sauer of South San Francisco; sisters Susan Kollerer of Fremont, Phyllis Springer of Elverta and Barbara Dickey of San Leandro; nephews Michael and David Springer, Sean and Ryan Dickey, and Jesse Hodorowski; niece, Shannon Wiseman; great-nephew, Jack Wiseman; brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Sharon Hodorowski of Grass Valley; brother, Dennis Wright of Quincy; and sister-in-law, Pat Wright of Apple Valley, Minn. She was preceded in death by her father in 2001, and brother-in-law Edward Dickey in 1997.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Grass Valley or the donor’s favorite charity.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
