FRUIT pops with sounds of success

Australian power trio, FRUIT, who were favorites at the Californian World Music Festival with their popular brand of harmony-heavy, horn-infused acoustic-pop, return, this time to Cooper’s in Nevada City on Wednesday, Nov. 15. They boast of being the highest CD selling act as regulars on the North American festival circuit (“Burn” is the CD for this trip). Their music stretches across genres from bluesy belts to scorching torch, from plaintive ballad to anthemic rock. The Anchorage Daily News called them “…three KD Langs in a row.” Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door; show starts around 8:30 p.m.
