Free frozen yogurt at new Penn Valley biz

Mom-and-daughter team Sheila Grizzell and Crystal Marchinek are handing out free frozen yogurt today to celebrate the opening of their new business.

Crazy 4 Yogurt is in the Gateway Shopping Center off Pleasant Valley Road, in Penn Valley – “across from the Chevron station,” said Marchinek, a mother of two.

The Lake Wildwood residents will be giving away frozen yogurt from 4 to 7 p.m. today.

“We just turned on the ‘open’ sign a few minutes ago,” mom Grizzell said a few minutes after 2 p.m. They’re already wondering if they’re going to run out, she added.

A good problem to have, daughter Marchinek said.

Their hours will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 12 to 6 p.m. Sunday. They’re at 10136 Commercial Ave.

As you head north on Pleasant Valley Road from Highway 20, Commercial is the first right; the shopping center is on the left.

The team is planning a grand opening March 13.
