Franklin Brazell

Services for Franklin Coombs Brazell of Citrus Heights will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Nevada City chapel of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at the North Bloomfield Cemetery.

Mr. Brazell died Friday, Jan. 16, in Roseville. He was 65.

He was born Jan. 3, 1938, in Nevada City to Edward and Elsie Brazell. He graduated from El Camino High School in Sacramento. He was a self-employed building contractor. He enjoyed fishing, camping, mining, playing pool, football and art painting.

He is survived by his sister, Marlene Wishman of Citrus Heights; daughter, Antoinette Hoss of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; nieces Kimberley Rauh of Roseville and Michelle Bumb of Elk Grove; ex-wife, Lynn Griffith Brazell; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Brazell, in 1966; and mother, Elsie Brazell, in 2001.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
