Frankie Conway

Memorial services for Frankie Earle Conway of Grass Valley will be conducted from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Eskaton.

Mrs. Conway died Monday, Dec. 27, in Grass Valley. She was 87.

She was born June 5, 1917, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to Justus and Ethyl (Wasson) Earle. She married Ernest Conway on Dec. 21, 1936, in Santa Ana, and graduated from Nevada Union High School in 1983. She was a member of the National Rifle Association, Republican Party, 700 Club, and Twin Cities Church. She enjoyed gardening, politics, cooking, sewing, her family and animals.



She is survived by her sons Earle Jamieson Conway of Grass Valley, and Ernest Lawrence Conway of Nevada City; daughters Janet Conway Montgomery of Danville, and Jane K. Conway of Grass Valley; daughters-in-law Susan Wick Conway of Grass Valley, and Pamela Welsh Conway of Nevada City; son-in-law, Herbert Montgomery of Danville; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Conway.

Memorial contributions may be made to Twin Cities Church, or Hospice of the Foothills.
