Frank Whitecotton

No funeral services will be held at this time for Frank Whitecotton of Grass Valley. He died Thursday at a care facility in Chico. He was 76.

Mr. Whitecotton was born August 15, 1926, in Gilroy to Charlie and Alice Whitecotton. Following graduation from Yuba City High School, he entered the U.S. Army and served during World War II.

He worked for the Del Monte Food Co. for more than 25 years as a supervisor. He married Dorothy Hildreth in 1974 in Reno. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his wife.



He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dorothy; sister, Alice Rorie of Dobbins; brother, Walter Whitecotton of Iowa; sons Frank Jr. of Marysville and Tom of Illinois; stepdaughters Sue Hookins of Chico and Shirley Hildreth of Westminster; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brusie Funeral Home in Chico.
