Frank Warren

Memorial services for Frank Randolph Warren of Grass Valley will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Nevada City United Methodist Church, 433 Broad St.

Mr. Warren died Wednesday, Jan. 23. He was 70.



He was born on Sept. 5, 1931, in Hillsboro, Texas, to Frank Randolph Warren and Margaret Lois Wray. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954. He married Connie in 1955.




He then worked for Pacific Gas and Electric Co. in San Jose, then in Grass Valley, retiring in June 1991. He spent his last 15 years traveling in his motor home. He enjoyed gardening and volunteering at the church.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Connie Warren of Grass Valley; son, Michael E. Warren of Everett, Wash.; daughters Lynda Dirstine Smith of Olympia, Wash., and Debra Warren of San Martin; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Nevada City United Methodist Church Education Fund.
