Four candidate forums scheduled

The League of Women Voters of Western Nevada County has finalized the dates of its four candidate forums for the upcoming June 6 California Primary Election.

The public is invited to attend all four of the free events hosted by the League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan organization that does not support or oppose candidates.

– Wednesday – 7-9 p.m. at Nevada City council chambers, 317 Broad St., Nevada City; Candidates for Nevada City City Council and Nevada City Clerk.



– May 13 – 10 a.m. to noon at Peace Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 828 W. Main St., Grass Valley; Candidates for District Attorney.

– May 20 – 1-3 p.m. at Nevada City council chambers, 317 Broad St., Nevada City; Candidates for Superior Court Judge.




– May 24 – 7-9 p.m. at Nevada City council chambers, 317 Broad St., Nevada City; Candidates for Nevada County Clerk-Recorder and District III and District IV supervisors.
