Forest Lake Christian boys lose playoff opener

The No. 10 Forest Lake Christian boys basketball team was unable to pull off first-round upsets two years in a row, losing 62-54 at No. 7 Brookside Christian Wednesday night in Stockton.

Down by 21 points toward the end of the third quarter, the Falcons pulled back to within in six points in the final quarter, but got no closer.

Sophomore Ben Sparling led the team with 15 points, while Brookside Christian point guard Lonnie Taylor scored 30 points to lead all scorers.
