Fire season caution

The recent fire in South Lake Tahoe emphasizes the need for extreme caution in this fire season. As the Fourth of July approaches, there is the added danger of igniting a catastrophic fire, not so much through carelessness (though that is always possible) as through ignorance and inexperience. This is particularly true of young folks. I strongly urge all parents to vigorously supervise their kids, who tend not to realize the danger.
