Fire Safe Council scraps brush processing plans

Over one hundred neighbors showed up Tuesday to protest plans to construct a five-acre brush processessing operation off Old Auburn Road.

Yielding to their wishes, the Fire Safe Council agreed to scrap plans to open the facility. The decision puts the nonprofit at risk of losing over $300,000.
