UPDATE: Purdon Fire now 100 percent contained

UPDATE at 1:55 p.m.:

The Purdon Fire is now 100 percent contained, though two outbuildings, two trailers and two vehicles were destroyed in the blaze, Cal Fire said.

The three-acre fire, at 13000 Murphy Road, caused no injuries. It took about two hours to bring it under control, officials said.

UPDATE at 1 p.m.:

The fire is now at three acres, authorities said.

Firefighters have responded to a blaze in the area of Purdon and Murphy roads that’s led to voluntary evacuations, officials said.

Authorities responded around 11:50 a.m. to the acre fire that’s threatening structures. Aircraft have been assigned to fight the blaze, a communications operator said.
