Farmers Markets

Several farmers markets go up each week in western Nevada County.

Most include fresh produce, flowers, crafts, food and often music. Here’s the schedule:

8 a.m. to noon Sundays at Lake of the Pines on Combie Road.



3-6 p.m. Tuesdays at Sierra Presbyterian Church, 175 Ridge Road, Nevada City.

2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 17645 Penn Valley Drive, Penn Valley.




6-9 p.m. Thursdays on Mill Street, downtown Grass Valley, during the Thursday Night Market.

9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fridays on York Street, downtown Nevada City.

8 a.m. to noon Saturdays on Union Street, Robinson Plaza and Calanan Park, in downtown Nevada City.

8 a.m. to noon Saturdays at the Nevada County Fairgrounds, McCourtney Road, Gate 4.
