A gaggle of girls took part in the “Race in the Panama Canal” game sponsored by Girl Scout Troop 1994 Saturday at the Veterans Memorial Building in Grass Valley. Haydan Navo, 6 (left), and Carli Siegfried, 7 (right), were among those powering their ships during the World Association of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides meeting, where 26 troops from the Nevada County area displayed exhibits and booths.
