Experienced leadership

During these challenging times, our supervisors need to work together toward a unity of purpose for the county while listening to the needs and concerns of the people who live in Nevada County. Nate Beason’s experience, military and civilian, managing personnel, material and financial budgets up to $500 million qualifies him to be on the Board of Supervisors.

While Nate understands the inevitability of growth, he is for slow, measured growth while maintaining the natural beauty of our county. He is actively studying our traffic problems and will work with others to solve long and short-term problems. He is supportive of responsible forestry practices that can reduce the fuel levels in our forest, reduce the risk of catastrophic fires and thereby lessening the threat to our quality of life. He opposes any more dams on the South Yuba, keeping the river free-flowing.

His maturity and level-headedness in dealing with difficult situations will be an asset to District 1 and to the board.  Vote for Nate Beason for District 1 supervisor.
