Expect freeway delays on Wednesday

Motorists traveling south on the Golden Center Freeway in Grass Valley can expect delays on Wednesday, Oct. 25, the California Department of Transportation said today.

The Brunswick on-ramp loop to southbound Highway 20/49 will be closed due to paving and grinding work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those traveling east on Brunswick Road will be allowed to use the straight, southbound on-ramp. Motorists going west on Brunswick can access the freeway by turning left on East Main Street and using the southbound on-ramp at Idaho-Maryland Road.

People should use caution while traveling through the construction area, and watch for trucks entering and exiting the road.
