In response to the letter “War glorified unnecessarily,” which ran on May 31.

“As a Boy Scout in Indiana.” I’m not sure that that has anything to do with honoring those who died in the service to our country.

“We” did not adopt the abhorrent practices of Nazi Germany. FDR and the Democratic Congress did all those things that “we” are accused of. The liberals keep citing the daily loss of military lives in Iraq. They won’t mention the daily loss of military lives in the Democratic World War II because it was 302 per day.
