Every day this month can be Halloween with Center of the Arts

Get ready for Java John’s annual October “Mask” exhibition. Each year Neighborhood Center of the Arts (NCA) gathers together a collection of whimsical and “very scary” masks from the ceramics and woodworking departments.

Robbie Snell has created a “Werewolf” mask out of rawhide and foam core. His “Lion” is equally unique consisting of paper, tape, wire and jute.

Entertain yourself with the clay characters who have big lips, goofy noses, and evil eyes!

Celebrate Halloween once again by adding these “one of a kind” masks to your collection. Stop by Friday, Oct. 1 and take your pick before they’re picked over.

Java John’s is open 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
