Everett Goodridge

A rosary for Everett M. Goodridge of Grass Valley will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Grass Valley. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery following the mass.

Mr. Goodridge died Saturday, Nov. 30, in Grass Valley. He was 96.

He was born on Feb. 9, 1906, in Red Bluff, to George M. and Irmina V. Goodridge. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Ruth in August of 1946, in Carson City, Nev. He was a carpenter and bus driver. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed the outdoors.



He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Mary Gilliam of Livermore; daughter and son-in-law Freda and Doug Epperson of Grass Valley; granddaughter and grandson-in-law Robin and Josh Lee of Berry Creek; granddaughter Kim Epperson of Grass Valley; grandsons Jason Gilliam of Dublin and Robert Gilliam of Livermore.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Wilma Goodridge, in 1989.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
