Two award-winning performing musical ensembles from Bear River High School will be highlighted in an upcoming concert, “Festival Showcase”, one night only on April 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Grass Valley Center for the Arts. All seats are reserved. $10 for admission.

6 p.m., Clear Creek School Gymnasium, 17700 McCourtney Road, Grass Valley. Mexican dinner, live music by Three Shades of Red, and silent auction. Proceeds to benefit Clear Creek School. $4 per person in advance, $5 at door.

Mexican, Tex-Mex, and Colombian music played by La Familia Pena-Govea comes to the North Columbia Schoolhouse Cultural Center on the San Juan Ridge April 15, 7 p.m. $15 general admission, $6 kids under 12. Tickets at BriarPatch, Love Shack Records.
