Eugenia C. Tobis

Graveside services will take place at 1 p.m. today at Creekside Cemetery for Eugenia C. Tobis of Grass Valley. A visitation was held Thursday for Mrs. Tobis, who passed away March 18. She was 93.

Mrs. Tobis was born on Sept. 25, 1913, to Harry and Bertha Nye in San Francisco. She graduated from high school in Burlingame.

Mrs. Tobis married Abe Tobis and was a homemaker.



She was a member of the Nevada County Orchestra and enjoyed piano, violin, opera singing, gardening.

Mrs. Tobis is survived by her sons, Kurt Bomke of Oakland and Kraig Bomke of Missouri; daughter, Sherry Pescador of Grass Valley; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe Tobis and son, Karl Bomke.




Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels.
