Free docent-led walks have started at the South Yuba River State Park and will continue through Memorial Day every Saturday and Sunday (flowers permitting) at 11 a.m.

The walks start at the north parking lot beyond the covered bridge if coming via Hwy. 20 to Pleasant Valley Road (going in the direction of Lake Wildwood). The park’s number is 432-2546.

The Nevada County Musicians Exchange has its newsletter on the Web at its brand new site: http://www.yourtempoonline.com. The exchange acts as an informational clearing house to not only the musicians in this area, but also to those in search of entertainment, thus bringing together performers with their audience.

Editor Andy Gonzales says that a portion of everything generated by “Tempo” will go to the community food closet to feed those in need.
