Empire Mine cleanup discussion Thursday

The Wolf Creek Community Alliance will focus on the cleanup at Empire Mine State Historic Park at a 6:30 p.m. meeting Thursday at the NID Annex building in Grass Valley across from Lyman Gilmore School.

Speaking will be Park Superintendent Ron Munson, who will discuss what the problem is, how it was detected, the danger involved, what the plan is, who is involved, and the timeline for implementation. For more information on Wolf Creek and the alliance, log on to http://www.wolfcreekalliance.org.
