Emma Resch

Services for Emma Marie Resch, of Rough and Ready, will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday at the chapel in the Wilson and Kratzer Funeral Home Civic Center in Richmond. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Grass Valley.

Mrs. Resch died Sunday, Jan. 22, at the Creekside Health Center in San Pablo. She was 95.

She was born Jan. 17, 1911, in Suzanna, Ill., to Fredrick Stranger and Luise Sieger. She was a homemaker. She had been a resident of Rough and Ready for 34 years.

She is survived by her sons Tom F. Resch of Branson, Mo., William F. Resch of Pittsburg and Robert R. Resch of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughters Mary L. Caffee of St. Lawrence, S.D., Alice C. Molkey of El Sobrante, Jeannette J. Resch of Richmond, Kathleen A. Saunders of Rough and Ready and Betty Holley of St. George, Utah; 26 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
