Electioneering games

I received a letter (no name or address). It was quite vitriolic and is what the campaigns are apt to generate. Personal attack with little or no regard to facts.

Shortly thereafter, I received a letter from Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi with a plea for funds. Nancy claimed to have the truths. Bush inherited a booming economy and drove it into the ground. This claim is disputed by a federal report that gives credit to the start of the recession to the Clinton administration at least six months before President Bush took office.

President Bush has stated that Senator Kerry had served with honor in Vietnam, and has stated that all 527 groups should be banned. Kerry has made no such statement, and the liberal press has continued to question President Bush’s National Guard service even though he was honorably discharged.

The recent National Guard letters unearthed to support some liberal claims on President Bush’s service record appear to be forgeries and should be investigated.

Unfortunately, this is all trivia compared to Senator Kerry’s record in the Senate. He can’t escape from it or explain it.
