Eileen Rapp

October 1, 1925 – September 10, 2008

Eileen Rapp died peacefully at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital, surrounded



by her family on Sept. 10, 2008.

Born on Oct 1, 1925 to Cecil and Martha Kyle, Eileen was the oldest of three




children and the older twin. While attending Roscoe High School, she met her

soulmate, Delos Paul Rapp. They married July 15, 1945.

The Rapps had five children. Her parents, husband, her daughter

Debbie and

her twin sister, Jean, preceded her in death.

Eileen was active in Girl Scouts for more than 30 years.

After moving to

the Grass Valley area, she drove a school bus for

the Pleasant

Ridge/Magnolia school district for 30 years. She continued to work for the

school as a yard supervisor after retiring from bus driving.

She is survived by daughter Nancy of Roswell, New Mexico; daughter Mary Lou

of Grass Valley; daughter Doris of Eureka; son Kenneth of Elverta; sister

Patricia of Roseburg, Oregon; eight grandchildren and 16

great-grandchildren. Countless friends and other family members also survive

her. A friend, a mentor and a pillar of support in the family, she will be

missed.

Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in

Grass Valley on Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. All who wish may attend.
