Teen lock-in returns to Madelyn Helling Library

The popular teen lock-in, hosted biannually by the Nevada County Community Library, returns on Friday from 6-10 p.m. at the Madelyn Helling Library.

After the library closes, teens in eight to 12th grade are invited to play Nintendo Switch, play tag in the stacks, divine the future with tarot cards and Ouija boards, make buttons, watch movies and eat copious amounts of pizza.

This event, with the theme The Underworld, is planned by the Teen Advisory Group, a squad of teen volunteers, and is funded by the Friends of the Library.
