Edmonds Angell

Memorial services for Edmonds Angell of Grass Valley will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Chapel of the Angels Mortuary in Grass Valley. Chaplain Jerry Farrell will officiate the services.

Mr. Angell died Sunday, Oct. 10, at home. He was 86.

He was born May 29, 1918, in London, England, to William and Ethal Angell. He married Anne Flint on Jan. 10, 1980, in Norwalk. He worked for The Union in the Circulation Department. He was a movie buff.

He is survived by his wife, Anne Angell of Grass Valley; sisters Eileen Deamer and Joan Angell, both of England; daughter, Sue Angell of San Luis Obispo; step-daughters Tracy Bentley and Alison Earl, both of England; and grandchildren Gary, Jade, Adam, Scott and Lisa.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
