Ecology fair for kids is Nov. 5

It’s Nov. 5 and the kids are bored and restless. What do you do? A good answer is take them to the Imaginarium where “Eco-Kids: First Five Ecology Fair” is taking place for children five and under. There they’ll find out that learning about the ecosystem through storytelling, primitive living skills, games, activities, songs, food, animal exhibits and Smokey Bear is lots of fun.

The Imaginarium is located at 112 Nevada City Highway, Nevada City, at the corner of Ridge Road. The time of the fair is noon to 4 p.m.; the cost is $5 per family. The event is sponsored by the Imaginarium, Nevada County Superintendent of Schools, and the Sierra Nevada Deep Ecology Institute, where you can reach Marge Kaiser at 265-6649.
