Douglas Freiburger

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, at Hooper & Weaver Mortuary, Nevada City, for Douglas Lee Freiburger of North San Juan. Pastor Andy Owens will officiate.

Mr. Freiburger died Friday, Dec. 6, in Placer County. He was 52.

He was born July 31, 1950, in California to Walter Franklin Freiburger and June Rose Allwein. He graduated from Irvinton High School. He was a self employed handyman and loved music, playing guitar, rock mining and gardening.



He is survived by his mother, June Allwein of Bend, Ore.; brother, Dennis Freiburger of Concord; brother and sister-in-law, Daivad and Ashley Freiburger of Bend, Ore.; daughters, Angelica Freiburger of Weimar, and Spring Freiburger of Grass Valley; and three grandchildren, Joseph Bray, Selina Blanco and Myra Walker.
